From the drawing to the pay application, in one system.

Every number starts on a drawing or with a person, and every step after it reads that number instead of a re-typed copy. This is what BuilderSite does today.

Drawings and takeoff

• Upload plan sets. Sheets are named and numbered, and a sheet with an unchecked scale is flagged.
• Measure area, length and count on the sheet. Openings come out of measured areas.
• Doors are counted from the door numbers printed on the drawing.
• Quantities can be worked out from formulas you save.
• A person confirms every quantity before it can be priced.
• Link a revised sheet to the one it replaces, and every line measured on the old sheet is flagged.
• Share only the sheets you choose with your crews and outside people.

Estimates and bids

• Estimate lines priced from measured quantities, sub quotes or amounts you enter.
• Assemblies and price lists you import.
• Alternates, a bid summary spreadsheet and a proposal PDF from the same lines.
• An alternate the owner accepts after award becomes a change order.
• A bid pipeline with one opportunity per bid, follow-up tasks and reminders.
• A contact directory with each sub's insurance and compliance papers. Import contacts from a spreadsheet.
• Email from inside BuilderSite, with templates, merge fields and delivery tracking.

Budgets and billing

• A budget built from the awarded bid, one line per cost code.
• Subcontracts and purchase orders against budget lines.
• Change orders that update the contract, the budget and the schedule of values together.
• Pay applications on AIA G702 and G703 forms, with retainage that follows your contract terms.
• Sub and supplier bills, payments recorded, and no payment without the matching lien waiver.
• Export files for QuickBooks.

Schedule and field

• A project schedule as a Gantt chart.
• Tasks, punch list, RFIs and a submittal log.
• Warranty claims after the job is complete.
• Daily logs, and photos from a phone camera on a timeline by date.
• A crew time clock with hours and a payroll export. No location, no photo, no fingerprint.

Every company

• Click any amount to see where it came from: the sheet and region for a measured quantity, the quote or the person for any other line.
• Invite your client to a portal that shows what you share with them.
• Accounts for people outside your company, who see only what you share.
• A notification centre for what needs your attention.
• Sign in with a password and an authenticator code. Add your team and set each person's role.
• Export all of your data, with the original drawings and photos, any time.
